Community Orchard Volunteer Program
Anyone can join our Community Orchard Volunteer team!
The orchard is open on Tuesdays & Saturdays from 9am-2pm for volunteering. Volunteering in the orchard comes with perks, like invites to volunteer-only events and workshops, access to propagation materials, plant divisions, and culinary and medicinal herbs, on-site training related to orchard care, and connection with other gardening and fruit-growing enthusiasts. Participants of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels are encouraged to join! Our current volunteer team is a mix of families, individuals, retired superstars, older adults, students, educators, orcharding hobbyists, total beginners, and experienced gardeners. We are all here to learn and grow together.
All volunteers are required to attend an orientation prior to logging hours at the orchard. To get the process started, submit the form linked below.
Volunteer “Add-Ons”
“Add-Ons” are extra, optional programs that are ONLY available to registered volunteers. Add-Ons come with additional benefits, like guaranteed fruit to take home during the harvest season and access free volunteer-only workshops.
If you’d like to sign up for one of the 2026 Volunteer Add-Ons listed below, but you are not yet a registered volunteer, please read and submit a Volunteer Registration Form and complete volunteer orientation FIRST! Harvest Share Add-On
Price: Sliding Scale, $100-$200
Harvest Share participants are guaranteed fruit during the harvest season on days they come in to volunteer, and also have access to free, volunteer-only workshops.
To participate in this Add-On, you must be a new or returning volunteer committed to volunteering at least 3-6 hours per month after signing up, for a total of 40 volunteer hours in the 2026 calendar year.
Workers Share Add-On
Price: FREE
Workers Share participants are guaranteed fruit during the harvest season on days they come in to volunteer, and access to free, volunteer-only workshops.
To participate in this add-on, you must be a returning volunteer committed to logging at least 3-6 hours each month after signing up, for a total of 65 volunteer hours in the 2026 calendar year.
