At the Home Orchard Education Center (HOEC), we believe that when people learn to grow fruit, they grow something even more powerful: confidence, resilience, and connection to community.
Each year, our orchard serves as a living classroom and a source of nourishment. We teach hands-on workshops in fruit tree care, soil health, pruning, grafting, and sustainable growing practices. We harvest fruit that is both sold to sustain our programs and shared with neighbors struggling with food insecurity through our Feed a Neighbor program.
