WHAT COMES IN THE BOXES?
If you love exploring new tastes and want to sample a wide variety of apples & pears, this share is for you! The primary focus of this share, is our unique mix of heirloom, modern, and lesser known apples and pears. Also included is a sampling of other interesting fruits such as aronia, elderberry, grapes, quince, persimmons, and more - the exact variety of fruits depends on the weather and the harvest. Each box varies, but the photos below are examples from some of our 2024 fruit boxes.
PARTICIPATION PERKS
We believe that making a connection to the food you eat and the land where it is grown is important, and we encourage CSA participants to spend time in the orchard! You will receive an invite to a fun fresh cider pressing event in fall, monthly emails filled with recipes, and educational information, as well as an open invite to spend time enjoying the orchard any time we are open. So come hang out, explore, have a picnic, choose a favorite tree, and watch the fruit grow.

Includes: 15 Fruit Boxes
Size: Approx 6-8 lbs Each Box
Cost: $525 TOTAL

PICKUP LOCATIONS
Oregon City Pickup: Onsite at the Home Orchard Education Center, located on the Clackamas Community College Campus in Oregon City. Directions and a map can be found here.
Portland Pickup: Located in Woodstock, near 45th and SE Knapp
This option comes with a one-time location fee of $15.
PICKUP DAY, FREQUENCY, & TIME
Day: Set your regular pickup day to be either Tuesdays OR Saturdays.
NOTE: Portland pickup is only available on Tuesdays.
Time: Pick up between 10am-2pm at the orchard in Oregon City, or 3-7pm from the Portland location.
Frequency: Pick up one box each week for 15 weeks.
PROGRAM DATES
We estimate the first pickup date for 2024 to be in early August.
The exact first pickup date will be determined by mother nature. We are pretty good at guessing, but weather is unpredictable.
As August approaches, we will give you at least 1-2 weeks advance notice before assigning the date of the first pickup.
Very occasionally we may need to skip a week due to weather or ripening patterns, but we will make up for it later in the season or by padding future boxes if that happens.
PAYING WITH SNAP

Our partnership with Pacific Northwest CSA Coalition makes purchasing a CSA share with SNAP food benefits possible. Signing up with SNAP takes a few extra steps, but it’s worth it!
Bonus! PNWCSA also has a fund for folks paying with SNAP called - Double Up Food Bucks (DUFB) that will cut the cost of your share in half! DUFB matches every SNAP dollar you spend with a dollar paid directly to us (your farmer). It is available on a first come first serve basis as long as funds are available. Becasue DUFB sometimes runs out later in the season, we urge you to sign up ASAP!
*When you fill out the registration form below, we will automatically submit a DUFB request for you. If DUFB funds are no longer available to cover half of your cost, you will have the opportunity to cancel your CSA share request.
Payment plans for SNAP payments and SNAP WITH DUFB are outlined below (please note the prices are for pickup at our Oregon City orchard. SNAP does not cover the $15 location fee if you choose Portland pickup):
